Tees from the 90s
Stripes were popular, and collars were high. Two old tees with simple details that evoke the style
Tee with side vent, front welt pockets, and contrast sleeves. 
Saddle-raglan with contrast crew and matched stripes. -
Vionnet Day Dress
Vionnet Day Dress from 1922. Pattern presented in Bette Kirke Vionnet and Janet Arnold Patterns of Fashion 2. The pieces are almost all right angles, and dyed successive shades with gold couched embroidery between panels. The skirt is left open on the left, the bodice on the right. Pattern pieces wrap from front to back. The skirt is gathered to the blouson bodice. The bodice has a button placket on both sides, the left releases a tuck. Worn over a slip.

What’s in the Envelope?
Three different pattern sizes are simulated on the same size avatar, arranged in fabrics to mimic the envelope art. Avatar is a European size 38, approximately US size 8, Vogue size 12 by bust measurement. The pattern is a simple drop shoulder pattern with draped bias front. There’s an optional sleeve with a tuck closed with buttons at the wrist for a cuff effect.
The size six is probably perfectly comfortable and wearable, but maybe a little too short in the body to be suitable, and likely catches on the hip too much. 
The ten is maybe a more contemporary fit, that could work tucked or untucked. Probably what I’m imagining when I look at the envelope, even though it’s not as full as the illustration. 
This is the size that corresponds to the avatar bust measurement. The fit looks a little sloppy, but as a tucked shirt this probably is the size that would give the fullness shown on the pattern envelope. 
Pattern image. The front is cut on the bias, tucks at each shoulder establish the collar and set up the drape. 
Size 14. 
Graded nest, re-stacked so that neck and shoulders coincide. A standard bust grade 1″ in the smallest size, 1.5″ size 10-12, 2″ size 12-14 (and likely thereafter but not this envelope).
